Tai Chi

Experience moving meditation.

Tai Chi is a slow motion, low impact practice with numerous health benefits for all ages. It is often referred to as “meditation in motion.” Recent studies by prestigious institutions such as the Mayo Clinic, the Harvard School of Medicine, the American Heart Association and the University of California, Berkeley to name just a few, have suggested that Tai Chi can provide relief from the pain of arthritis and fibromyalgia, help increase circulation provide stress relief, improve balance in seniors which reduces falls and help lower blood pressure.

As a form of moving meditation Tai Chi provides relaxation and a sense of well being.  It can be practiced by people of any age and with appropriate modifications any level of fitness.  It is an exercise that people stay with long term because it is very enjoyable to do and extremely beneficial for mind-body health.

Tai Chi is instructed by Mike Goebel throughout the week.
