Support Groups

Our Support Groups  offer a place and time to share stories, support and information to help on the journey of life and healing.

Bone Density

St. Mary’s Breast Center offers state-of-the-art bone density testing  with its newly-acquired GE Healthcare Lunar iDXA. We can now take a three-point assessment of bone, fat and lean tissue for a comprehensive view of body wellness in a single exam.

Ultrasound

A breast ultrasound  uses sound waves to make a picture of the tissues inside the breast. A breast ultrasound can show all areas of the breast, including the area closest to the chest wall, which is hard to study with a mammogram . Breast ultrasound does not use X-rays or other potentially harmful types of radiation.

Mammography

St. Mary’s Breast Center has the latest advances in breast cancer screening. That includes digital mammography  read by two board-certified dedicated breast radiologists, Dr. Charles Lackey and Dr. Kathryn Bryan, who maintain their offices on site. They only review breast images, so mammogram results are typically available the same visit.
